Purer Rhythmus die Dritte! Mit dem klaren Auftrag, die Eindimensionalität zwischen Liebe und Klang endlich zu erwidern. The Ascent und Screech haben sich diesem Unterfangen hingegeben. Synthetisch, klar und temporeduziert koppeln die beiden Berliner die Pole, verschmelzen Absender und Empfänger zu einer geschlossenen Verbindung und speisen ihre Ideen, Impressionen und Erkenntnisse in diesen Kreislauf.
Was sich im Original als sympathischer Slowfunkgroove präsentiert, darf sich mit seiner binärisch gefühlvollen Vocoderstimme echte Pop- Avancen ausrechen – zumindest sollte die Chance bestehen, aus dem reinen Clubkontext ausbrechend wahr genommen zu werden. Ascent & Screetch´s eigene Übersetzung in ein Tanzkompatibles Korsett ist jedoch straff geschnürt. Zwingend tempoerhöht, minimalistisch und reduziert in der Soundwahl, liegt der Fokus hier genretypisch auf punktegenauer Akzentuierung, die im richtigen Moment zündet. Soapespierre & Dexter hingegen verpassen dem dich liebenden Sound eine Chordline, wie sie Voyagés Organisés typisch, schlussfolgernd von ihnen geliebt, besser nicht sein könnte. Ohne Engstirnig zu sein, frischen sie so ein gewohnt traditionelles Soundbild mit ein paar electroiden Partikeln jüngerer Schule auf – in der Summe frisch, treibend und erneut unerhört zeitlos. Den Abschluss bilden Queaver & Thom E mit einer kompletten Neuinterpretation des Stückes. Eingebettet in ein Erlebnisbad aus Acid und Strings [deren Inspiration eindeutig aus predigitalen Produktionstagen stammt], erarbeiten sie ein altehrwürdiges Rhytmusgerüst – in dem sich die Highhats bewusst schroff und unverfälscht entfalten können. Gekrönt wird das ganze durch dem Gesang von Lady J - die für das Original geforderten Pop- Avancen dürften hier nicht vermindert gelten.
Lucky Bonus: Zum freien Download auf purerhythm-records.com steht der dritte Remix dieser Platte, den wir als vollwertiges Stück dieser Veröffentlichung betrachten, ihn jedoch nicht auf der physischen Veröffentlichung unterbringen konnten. Perthill & Aerts statuieren hier ihr neopopisches Exempel. Straff, mit Vorwärtsdrang – gleichsam sensibel und verträumt. Eine Reminiszenz an die Frühen Northern Lite.

Pure Rhythm the third! With the clear assignment to finally bring an end to the one-dimensionality between love and sound. The Ascent and Screech have faced this venture. Synthetically, clear and at a slower pace these two poles are linked by them Berlin based producers. They have merged sender and receptor to an unflawed bond, feeding it with their ideas, impressions and cognitions.
Whats being presented as a likeable Slowfunkgroove, with soulful Vocodervocals can actually make advances to some Pop – well, there is at least, a reasonable chance for it to be recognized outside of your usual club-context. Their very own rework of this track on the contrary has been tied into a tight and dancefloor- compatible corset. With a mandatory acceleration in tempo, a minimalistic and reduced selection of sounds, this mix is focussing on genre- typical accentuations, sparking just-on-time. Soapespierre & Dexter on the other hand are flavouring their interpretation of this track with a chordline which is ooooh so loved by them. If you ever get a chance for a proper translation you will understand how they have taken that title literally! But without being narrow-minded, they know how to fresh up such a traditional soundprofile with some electroid particles of the present – fresh, driving and shockingly timeless in the end. Rounding it off are Queaver & Thom E with a complete new interpretation of this masterpiece. Embedded with Acidline and Strings (obviously inspired by the pre-digital age) they have constructed a time-honoured rhythmic framework – where intentionally brusque and unaltered highhats can unfold and crowned by the voice of ???. The previously mentioned advances to Pop can be applied here too!
Lucky Bonus: We are publishing the third remix on our purerhythm-records.com website for free download. We consider this remix as a fully-fledged track of this output but unfortunately couldn’t put on the record itself. Perthill & Aerts are actually making an example of Neo-Pop. Firm and thrusting forward on one hand but sensible and moony on the other. A reminiscence to the early Northern Lite.
